Make Time
A neighborhood creative space to make art, make friends, and make change.
Our Mission
At Make Time, we're creating a neighborhood space where people can make art, learn new skills, meet their neighbors, and spend time together. We believe creativity should be accessible to everyone, and that small moments of making, sharing, and connecting help build stronger communities.
Make art. make friends. make change.
Make art. make friends. make change.
how you can help:
Every donation will help keep Make Time open and accessible to our community. Your support will go directly toward everyday operating costs like rent, utilities, art supplies, furniture, workshop materials, paying local teaching artists, and allowing us to sustainably pay ourselves while continuing to build this space. As Make Time grows, donations will also help fund scholarships, free community programming, and new opportunities for local artists and neighbors to create together.
If you'd like to support Make Time without joining our Make Time Mail club, you can make a one-time or recurring monthly donation right here. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us create a welcoming space where creativity, community, and connection can continue to grow.
We'll be transparent about how donations are used and will regularly share updates on the projects, programs, and improvements your support makes possible.
Donate
Not everyone can stop by the studio, so we created Make Time Mail as a way to bring a little piece of our community to your mailbox each month. Through our Patreon, you'll receive letters from the studio, original artwork, stickers, prints, and other handmade surprises created by us, local artists, neighbors, and students. Many mailings will also include collaborative projects and creative prompts that invite you to participate from wherever you are—whether that's contributing to a community zine, writing a note of encouragement for a stranger, or helping create artwork that finds its way back into the studio. No matter where you live, Make Time Mail is a way to stay connected, support accessible arts programming, and become part of the growing Make Time community.

Volunteer or donate supplies
There are plenty of ways to help Make Time grow beyond financial support. We're always looking to connect with volunteers, teaching artists, and neighbors who want to share their time, skills, or ideas. If you have gently used furniture, art supplies, tools, shelving, or other materials that could find a second life in our studio, we'd love to hear from you. Every donation—whether it's a chair, a box of paint, or an afternoon of your time—helps us create a more welcoming and accessible space for our community.
